Meet Our Staff

Kazmiera is the founder and president of Insightful Strides, Inc, as well as the Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Executive Director.  

She grew up with horses and always had a dream of utilizing horses and therapy.  Through her Masters program, in Mental Health Counseling, she began to learn about Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and Learning and realized that this was the answer to her dream.

Kazmiera received her license in Mental Health Counseling through New York State in 2011 and started her career at GCASA (Genesee/Orleans Council on Alcoholism and Substance Abuse), an outpatient substance abuse clinic.  She than transferred her career path to WCMHC (Wyoming County Mental Health Clinic) in 2014, an outpatient mental health facility, where she worked with adults and children.  She began her private practice in 2015.

 Christine is the barn manger for Insightful Strides, Inc.  Christine began her journey with horses at the young age of 9yrs old, despite her parents resistance.  She has had horses ever since.  She is a 1976 graduate of the Hillcraft School of horseshoeing, located in Littleton, Colorado.   She is experienced in showing, training and has extensive experience in the care of horses.
